Hello:
Blue-tongued Skinks (genus Tiliqua) are great pets as far as Lizards are concerned. They are for the most part calm (at least T. scincoides are) they are not very demanding in their care, and they are very long-lived.
Hope this helps.
Have a Great Day!!!
leopard gecko.
If I were to get another lizard right now, it would be a mexican beaded lizard. But thats probably not what your looking for.
I'm sure Mexican Beaded's are pretty expensive, although I'd love to have one in my care the cage requriements are also probably a little more demanding.
interesting, lizards
But nice pet when handled a lot and beautiful to boot, is a collared lizard , better yet a pair or trio
if you have the room. (deserty set up) sand, heat, uvb.
JUST gorgeous, I have worked with them for many years, and they still WOW me. So diverse in colors, patterns from different locales... VERY COOL
Best wishes in your lizard seeking quest !
