My female Brown Anole has a problem. All the skin around her eye is rotting! I put some terramicin on it and gave her some amoxicilin in some water. I've had another anole die from a skin problem but i caught this sooner. Please help I don't want her to die! Katie
PS, I live out in the boonys so I DON'T have a herp vet around my house.

It will be better to take it to any vet if you can't get a herp vet, still. Or at least talk to one. I wouldn't know if amoxicillin is appropriate for herps, though.

Anyway, have you looked into what could be causing the rotting? I know they're humid lovers, but maybe the humidity is too high? I really wouldn't know, but it does sound like something to be worried about and I hope she gets better.
