Vermiculite?

howitser Feb 21, 2007 07:25 PM

I've got 3 leos, 1 male 2 female. Since they're housed together, eventually they'll breed. Where's the best place to get vermiculite if I want to incubate some of the eggs? I'm planning ahead, eventually will get an incubator online. Just haven't seemed to be able to find plain vermiculite (it's always mixed with something) in the stores I've been in.

Thanks!

Howie

I consisently can find plain vermiculite at Orchard Supply Hardware for $1.99 a bag in their gardening section.

I have always got mine from Lowe's in the gardening section. You might also try your local farm coop, farm supply store (like Tractor Supply Store or Atwoods), Southern Agriculture or a local nursery/plant store.
