End of mating season???....

I was wondering when I could start expecting my sexually mature male ball python to start eating again. He started fasting in november (maybe even as early as october), and broke his fasting on christmas day when he ate 4 large mice. The following week he had a couple more, and I believe he continued for another week or two, and then he went back on his feeding strike. Sometimes when I try feeding him I can tell he is interested in the food just a little, but not enough to strike and constrict.

About a week after he stopped eating he had a large bowel movement, followed by another the week after that. He hasn't decreased in weight more than a gram or two each week.

When do you think he will snap out of this and want to eat again. He is about 30-34" long, and 476 grams. The heaviest I've ever weighed him in at (before the last couple of bowel movements) was early 500's.

Generally, my males will come back around to eating regularly around March or April. Sometimes sooner. Unfortunately, it all depends on them. Kepp temps and conditions well, offer food, and if they don't eat, they don't eat. Trust that they'll eat again soon enough
