I've ALWAYS loved snakes, had constrictors and I have an albino ball. I'm new to corns & I bought one labeled in the pet store as, "an albino". After brousing the classifieds' pictures, now I think it may be a snow, but it may be a "coral snow", because it's somewhat on the pinkish colorling. But can it be an amelinistic? Whats the story of these colorations. Guess it's time to get a digital camera to picture post!

Here is a pic of an amelanistic, or albino (red), and a snow (white). Which does your look like?

Garweft-
I appreciate your picture for me to refer to!!! Yes, my new corn, Frost, appears to be a snow corn!!! Yeaah! Although Frost may be a "coral-corn" because its pinkish coloring between the whiter saddles. I assume I won't really know until it's alittle older as I've read the older corns get the more enhanced their coloring becomes. I hope mine will be as nice as the one in the picture you posted!

The only way you will know for sure if your corn is a coral snow, is breeding trials with a corn carrying the hypo trait in either the het or homo state. A coral snow is a morph that is triple homozygous for anery A, amelanism, and hypomelanism.
