grandis day geckos...how tame are they?

WEEBEASTIES Feb 22, 2007 06:09 PM

Does any one have one that's tolerant to handling? Mine doesn't like to be caught and is super fast! Once he's caught he tries to bite but gives up after just a moment. I don't handle him much because I don't want to stress it out too much but would like to tame hiem down some. Advice?

Day geckos are better kept as hands off pets. I lost my first pair of peacocks trying to handle them. And when I say I lost them, I mean lost them... they got away from me and I never saw them again.

Here in Ohio that is a death sentence.
