Laying on her side....

BSleeper Feb 22, 2007 09:34 PM

Ok so she is laying on her side well damn near on her back so i know that she is gravid. My question is can i use the fact that she is laying on her side for the first time within the last few days to make a rough estamite of when she will lay or ovulate or is it another random type deal where it all depends on her?

she will go into a pre-lay shed (she cycle before she lays her eggs) at which point from the day she ACTUALLY sheds you can count on her laying 27-30 days after that . It almost happens like clockwork between 27-30 days . It could take longer , if she is gravid , she should be laying warm most of the time now , cooking the eggs if you will.sounds good so far , good luck and keep us posted on her progress . Waiting is the toughest part but be patient and let nature take it's course...she knows what to do . Offer her smaller meals less often also , don't won't her to pound while she is already uncomforatble with the extra luggage.hope this helps
