Since I've added a baby RES to my tank with my YBS green stuff has been growing on the basking rock and gravel. Is this algae? How do i get rid of it?

Is it growing where there the light shines? Most likely it is. Hard stuff to get rid of. You might want to post a pic. It will start growing in the corners of the tank and when the turtles molt, under the turtle's molting shell. Nothing to worry about in my opinion.

Here are the pictures. I noticed the tank is starting to stink. What is this stuff and what can I do to prevent/fix it?
