Het Leopards Breeding

miloradovich Feb 23, 2007 10:18 AM

Last night and then again this morning I caught these two at it. Very exciting! They have been toghether for a couple of months off and on and I have seen no activity what so ever. I was about to give up on them for the year.
My animals don't seem to want to be on my schedule it seems. I put them all together in their pairs at the same time last year, late Oct/ early Nov some went at it right away, I have a due date next wed and some BRBs due in about a month. And now others like these two seem just now to be getting into the swing of things. Last night I also saw some Hypo Halequins courting. Well now my fingers are crossed for some good results as these were breedings I thought would have to wait until next season. Just goes to show you it's not an exact science and they'll do it when they're ready I guess.
Thanks for looking and good luck to everyone this season,
Milo

Thanks, I am really hoping for some little leopards too. As you can imagine I was pretty excited to find them like that (especially in a position that I could get a good pic). Thanks again for the great pair and I'll definately keep you updated.

Yes they are pure Sonorans. They are the first dwarfs I have bred. So I am pretty excited about them. I have been checking on them constantly, probably going to give them a complex.
