Hello
After receiving a new camera for valentines day, I recently took some pictures of the largest hatchling who at 5months is 9" and the father of the hatchling who is 27.5 inches and just as tame as can be.
I hope to get better at the photo process..and actually upload some video on youtube..

Nine inches at five months?? That's amazing! Do let us know if you get video up - I'd like to see it. They both look great - way to go!

Ok, so I am offically in awe!! What a looker!! I am so jealous!
I can't wait until my Ankh gets that big! Can you tell me your methods for taming? I notice my lil one doesn't seem to want to be handled very long, is it too cold outside of the enclosure.. or does my uro just not trust me yet?? He/she also runs and hides (usually) when I catch him/her out and about.

Be carefulI what you wish for...I was cleaning the fecal material out of the cages yesterday...clogged a shop vac!!!
I can't say I have any methods, but I have used food items to get them used to me.
It seems that some are just nice while others(like my first female) will just beat the living crap out of you.. I measured her yesterday(21.5"..she doesn't bite, but my hands and arms are thrashed.
Thankfully, the 2 big males that I have are very mellow.....
