Which baby foods to feed?

toshamc Feb 23, 2007 04:27 PM

I have gone to three stores looking for the peach or apricot baby food that I was told was best for feeding my new cresteds. I found peach but have not been able to locate any apricot - I did however find Guava and Mango - are these ok to use? What other types are ok or definite no-nos?

Thanks!

peach, and mango are fine. If you don't plan to feed crickets very often then you can add some chicken or turkey baby food to it. Also be sure that you add calcium to it. If you use CGD then you don't need baby food, calcium, or alot of crickets, and it ha severything in it that your crested gecko needs.

mango is good mine ate the apples bannana and strawberry mix. now all mine even the new one's eat the clarks gecko diet and grow like weeds compared to the trex and baby food and i don't have to supplement the food with extra calcium

YOu really shouldn't feed any babyfood. It's full of preservatives and not a lot of nutrition the geckos need. Try crested gecko diet instead. it has everything they need in it.
