Help needed

longhorn627 Feb 23, 2007 05:04 PM

I was handling my Leo today and noticed on 2 of her toes that there are rings of white skin left over from her last shed (which was about 4 days ago) around her toes. It seemed to be constricting them and the ends of those two toes were pink, (noticably different from the normal ones. I have continued to provide a humid hide, and made her stand in her water dish for a little bit to try and loosten up the left over skin. Does anyone else have any advice and she won't sit still enough for me to get them off with my hands. Thanks for any help in advance.

Nevermind, I used a Q-tip and warm water to get them off. Toes seem to be a lighter pink allready, hope they recover.

Yeah, mine has problems with his sheds on his toes, I used a Q-tip a couple of times, didn't seem to work that well, but as soon as I put new moss in his humid hide, he spends all day in it, and it seems to help with his toes. good luck
