I think I tried posting this a few days ago but I can't find it on the board anywhere...

Anyways. I was wondering if there is a simple way to determine the age and sex of your leopard gecko for a first time owner?

I bought mine from a petstore and they generally can't guarantee that they know anything at all about the pet you're getting so is there a way I can do it myself?

I am no expert but from what the guys at the petstore told me, near the vent on a male, there will be pores, they look like darker colored little dots in the shape of a v. the females have nothing. I dont know anything about age except for the fact that they only get about 8 in. long (book knowledge not experience)
