O.T... smoke 'em if you got 'em...

this post inspired by the Mike Wilbanks incident earlier. By the way, it's hard enough to hit a paper plate at the range with a pistol, but Mike put two (hits) on three moving bad guys in a highly charged situation. Outstanding. Bet it was a Glock.

All of these are locked in a Diamondback fireproof safe, except for the Glock, which is in a quick access safe.

Nice pic! how do you like the EO tech sight?

Hello, Nice looking weapons and it appears you have that 870 tricked out real nice. Just out of curiosity how did you know Wilbanks hit anyone. Wilbanks may have discharged his weapon first but within a second or two his manager as well was putting rounds down range. Plus I haven't seen any after action reports that indicate rounds that were fired buy the victims have been removed from the assailants and positively identified. Anyhow just my $.02 and again sharp looking weapons and nice shot group. By the way what was the distance...? Andrew

AndrewPotts Feb 24, 2007 12:31 AM

Hello, Nope it wasn't a Glock. Sig Sauer is what Wilbanks used. Is your Glock a G21 or G22 and is it compensated....? Andrew

could've been the manager or a combination of the two, but either way, in a highly charged situation even trained professionals miss at close range with a pistol. My glock is a M21 uncompensated. That pic I took with the target was at 7 yards pulling the trigger as fast as I could with front sight only and light on target. Glocks ain't pretty, but I've personally never had a pistol that I can shoot better.

Don't mind me, I'm with the band...

You gotta wear sunglasses and a fedora to get away with that! Ungh...those are some MIGHTY SHORT barrels you got there. I'm assuming you either are in law enforcement or have a special license for those. Maybe they count as a pistol where you live because of the cartridge and that funny stock? I don't think I could have that in Florida.

AndrewPotts Feb 24, 2007 09:29 AM

Hello, Yea a Glock is the way to go for me except I like compensated, but I know lots of people who think Glocks suck. So it really is to each his own. Yep those shorty barreled cal 15's or maybe m16's variants are great for C.Q.B. but that's it. They also seem to be chambered for 9 mm which makes me think there strictly for that purpose. If they are select fire you can still be a civilian and get one you just have to jump through the hoops and make nice with local law enforcement. Nice deadly looking weapons from all and its good to know that so many of us are armed to the teeth. I fear the government less knowing all you fine Americans uphold your second amendment right to bear arms. Andrew

They're legally registered as pistols.
There are a lot of legally fun toys in AZ.

cool.......gotta love how state laws vary so much on what you can own. very cool weapons. drew

Since we are talking about completely off topic things I might as well put a photo up of something I found while field herping last year. It was brought to the police station immediatly after the photo was taken Anyone else wonder why this is illegal but those weapons you all post aren't? Laws are funny things...

and you see something like that, your first thought should be,"Damn, I wish I was armed." Personally, although I haven't smoked pot since the 11th grade (a while ago) I don't know why it's not legal by now. Regardless, it's contraband that people die over because of the supply/demand ratio, and it's illegal. Be careful herping out there.

Hello, That girl was not grown outdoors. Look at the fan/shade leaves, no damage at all. Grown outdoors there is always some kind of ecto-parasitic damage on fan/shade leaves. Plus she would be quite a bit larger in size. That girl was cultivated indoors with love and tenderness. I'd say about half way though the flower cycle. Looks like some amazing trichromes are starting to cover the flowers. Anyhow great pic and I agree 100% that if I can cultivate it I should be able to do with it as I please. Take care. Andrew
