Soda Can Color Test......Your input is requested. thanks... 4 PICS

Joel R Aug 11, 2003 03:10 PM

Okay all,, I decided to use both a Coke and up so we can see the red and green at the same time. And a couple different dragons.

I have not had a chance to check these pics on my neighbors .com so I can't say what the outcome is going to be. What we are looking for is to know if the 7UP and Coke cans look normal on your monitors. (they do on mine but I have my camera and monitor allied so the pics have life like color comparison,,,change settings on either and theoretically, an adjustment on the other can bring it back to appear normal "on my monitor" We want to know if the cans look normal to you. Please take the time to let me know. (thanks)

Here is the first one. He is the nipped one that was red at night 2hrs after the lights went out. This is how he looks during the day.

Same guy. The flash didn't go off on this one. You can see the red reflection from the lights on the coke can in the back of the pic.

Here is the same guy but with an orange patterned girl

And here is a younger guy who is still developing his color (check out the base of his tail)

I went to my neighbors house and looked at the post on their computer. Their monitor is like my mothers lol,, the brightness can not be adjusted high enough. For starters, there is no level indicator,, I just put it as high as it would go and it was still to dark. The darker screen did make the dragon look a little redder than mine does but it still looked orange to me, but then again, I know what color I'm looking for.

Mat,, which pic looked like a red dragon to you? (by counting down)

Thanks for your time.

Thanks & yup, a nipper got him. He is the only one from that clutch that got nipped. He is recovering just fine. Nice soaks and peroxide solution drops have done wonders.

Later.
Joel
