Good heavens, that's a stunning mandarin ratsnake you have there! Is that beauty captive bred?

Greetings,

Yes CB!
I purchased three CB Madarins from Richard Allen in 2003. He lived in Madison WI. at the time of purchase. I would to hear that he still deals with Mandarins, but I have not been in contact with him since the purchase.
Two were hatched in 01 that I aquired in 03 (these are from Hong Kong and are yellow/grey types) and the one pictured was an 02 hatch that I recieved when it was a few months old. Lucky for me it didn't look this stunning as a baby or I probably wouldn't have been able to purchase it.

Well, if Richard Allen sees this or if someone who knows him could tell him, I'm sure there are lots of mandarin fans who would love to hear about the origins of that snake that you pictured here. For instance, which importer brought those in? Were they cb or ch? Are there anymore like those at home(!!!)?

Regards
John

I have several adults, all are cb from a few breeders. I have to say that I consider all of them nice, but the one pictured is the most stunning. I would like to hear from anyone else who might have purchased Mandarins from Richard.

I am looking for grey phase mandarins and I am talking to a Scott Powley. I was wondering if any of you have any dealings with him or if you could give me any information about him.
