These are my two enclosures we built. The first is for
my special needs iguana who can't climb well so I used
ramps. The 2nd is Digits who can climb anything. His
main mode of transportation around the enclosure is his
cat tree which we wrapped in sissal rope. Just a note
though, this cage is actually in 1/2 of a bedroom and the
that half is set up for free roaming so he can come out
of his cage. The cage is really a little too small for healthy
active iguanas. I am working on takin it completely out
but he really likes it so I don't want to cause stress all
at once. He got this cage at one year and is soon to be
four years old.

Both cages are 5' wide X 3' deep by 6' tall.

Hope this helps
Linda

Wow thats intense! I'm gonna let mine basically freeroam and only go into the enclosure at night or when he wants when I get one.

Remember that with freeroaming only it is very difficult to control the needed temps and humidity levels. Some people do pull it off but it is a big commitment. Better er...easier to actually use the habitat as the main dwelling, and have freeroam time only when you are there to supervise. My Igabelle once ate an entire pair of pantyhose I didn't realize got kicked under the bed! And yes she is fine, but it was not a pleasant experience. Her enclosure is 6 foot tall, 5 feet long, and 3 feet deep. And there are times when weather gets extreme that it is difficult to regulate temps and humidity in that, let alone a whole room or house. Best wishes.
