Rabbits do indeed make the perfect meal for a burm and rodentpro.com is a great place to get them. We get all of our feeder animals from rodentpro.com Realize this, just because everyone feeds rabbits or large prey to their burms doesn't necessarily mean that feeding rats is a bad thing either. I have one large burm (around 14') who still holds out for jumbo rats. Despite scenting, etc this one still prefers rats. Personally, for a pet burm, I would caution against feeding extra large size rabbits. If you are planning on interacting with the animal, you will probably not be able to take your burm out for at least a week after eating a large meal. Even my big burms seldom get rabbits that weigh more than 6-8 pounds. I would feed a 9-10' burm (that is kept as a pet) a 3
-5 pound rabbit once or twice a month (max). one of the most common mistakes that people make when keeping burms is to over feed them. Many early deaths of burms can be atributed to obesity. Hope this helps.
