Rescued a Beardie!

foxykitty911 Feb 24, 2007 10:45 PM

I work at a pet store and someone brought in a 19 inch bearded dragon that they have been keeping in a ten gallon tank! The store won't take it because they don't have any room, but I am going to take it, to atleast get it out of the ten gallon. I read that a 55 gallon tank or above is ideal but the biggest tank I have right now is a 40 gallon long. Would that work for about a month or two so I can save some money for a bigger tank? He is the sweetest thing ever, when I was holding him he kept falling asleep on the top of my head!

Yes a 40 is better then a 10. So it will be fine until you get another tank. Glad you could take it! Good luck! Pictures are always welcome!
