1.5yr old BRB Pair

triniian Feb 24, 2007 10:46 PM

Talk about a long time since posting pics...

I got these two from Dave Colling back in May of 06. These two were born in August of 05. The male is stunning and Dave kept the female that matched his patterns so I had to settle for her. She's no "Orange" or "Red" beauty, but her nice smooth pattern and bright crescents are great start. These arent't the greatest pics, but you can sorta see what I am working with here. I decided not have ambient lights and took the pictures in the dark with flash only.

I love these guys, they are the GEMS of my collection.

Enjoy -- and thanks again Dave!

Here's the male "Ying"

This is 'Yang'. Considering these two only differ in age by 1 week, I am AMAZED at her growth. She dwarfs my male by 6 inches and a good .5lbs. They are fed the same - she is just engineered for growth.

Again, she's not orange like the male, but she has a clean pattern and she's got a GREAT personality. 1 more year and I'll get to see her little ones running around!

Sorry for the poor quality pics, I'm no photographer.

Hey dave, how about hooking me your '05 female from the SA-PO clutch?

That male did turn out to be a real stunner!!! That year I had a lot of really nice males but only a few comparable females.

The female is looking pretty good too. That pair should yield some really nice babies. You should expect a range of babies around the parents colors. Some more like mom and some more like dad, those'll be the keepers!

LOL, you're lucky I let that one go, the SA-PO females aren't going anywhere!!

You can have half of the offspring... or how about you name your price! :P

You have so many BRBs anyway, you probably don't even notice those girls. Plus with all of your Hypos, etc - they're going to be lost in the crowd.

Amber will be well fed, given daily slithers around the yard. She'll bask in the sun and have warm baths at her beckoning. There's space for her galore! My collection is so small, it'll be TLC all the way! Can't you see it - BRB heaven.

Wendy won't mind.

Oh well, at least I got one of 'em.

Dave, I couldn't be happier with what I have.
