i found it in east TN im thinking its a hatchling black racer, black ratsnake or coachwhip(are those in east TN?) btw i found it last year not this year

Juvie Coachwhips don't have the blotches (and they aren't in Tennessee. The head is wrong for a Rat Snake, and that is what young racers look like. I remember the first one I found; I thought for sure it was some kind of Rat Snake.
