Just got a Beautiful Gargoyle Female!

Michael_J Feb 25, 2007 09:07 AM

We just got a gorgeous female Gargoyle from Chris of Geckospot at the repticon show.. She is a stripe and has a lot of red when she wants to.

We got her home last evening and she's seemed somewhat stressed and didn't move after we put her in her enclosure. At night she went exploring and seemed to eat so were happy.

Any tips for keeping her healthy and maybe mating her in the future. She is 2 years old and ready to go I'm sure.

Also I've gotten mixed messages about a moist hide. She we include a moist hide like we do for our Leopard Geckos ?

Thanks ahead of time.

gargoyle's don't really need a moist hide they are kept just the same as crested's. if you want to breed her i suggest make sure her calcium sac's are full and find a mate of the same size and put them together and see what happens good luck

ac reptiles does use cgd. it's made by repashy, just marketed differently. they improved the formula recently so it's more tasty to the geckos now.
