Pine for a perch

I was curious i pine is a type of wood that is bad for iguanas. I know some other types of lizards it can get them sick. I looked on this site and others but could not ind an answer.

Yes any Pine is toxic. I wouldnt use it.

Pine is toxic for all reptiles and amphibians. Dont even use it for feeder mice substrate (not saying igs eat mice, just an example). Ceder is also just as toxic. Dont use pine branches, needles or shavings for herps. Period. I would recommend grapewood for branches. But as the ig gets bigger, you should just find large logs outside on your own, if possible. Just make sure its not evergreen.

What about boards from pallets? They are pine for the most part aren't they. I wouldn't think they would be harmful
