I recently purchased a new snake and the first time she deficated it was green. Everything else about it seems normal though. Could this be an indication of parasites or possibly an infection of some sort?

Green feces or green urates? I have seen green urates passed by snakes which are starving or which just haven’t eaten in a long time. The green color is from bile (secreted by the liver and stored in the gallbladder) which normally helps digest fats. But I don’t know what the relation is to the starved state.
I think it is a good practice to have a fecal done on any newly-acquired snake. And especially when you see something out of the ordinary as in your case, you’d probably want to do it sooner rather than later.
Not a veterinarian,

It was a green urate and the snake had not eaten for several months before I got it according to the previous owner. She has eaten 3 times for me now so I am anxious to see if there is still any color next time. Thanks for the info.
