Sharps & Kahls does anyone know . . .

Slithering_Serpents Feb 25, 2007 08:30 PM

who actually breed them together and got double hets? I would really like to know exactly who did this and when if possible.

Thanks in advance,

I am NOT CERTAIN, but I believe it was Brian Sharp. And that the breeding was a Het Kahl to his Sharp female, however I am NOT sure.

Brian said he thinks another breeder or two tried it, no albinos. But that is all I know. Those one or two breedings are unconfirmed.

Thanks a lot Chris!

didnt those breedings produce calicos where 50% of the boa was albino including red eye and the other half normal??

I can ask pete and brian.. But i do remember this..

ChrisGilbert Feb 26, 2007 01:33 PM

That would be interesting. Brian just told me no albinos came from the breeding. I assume that means wild-type phenotypes, but he did not say, and I did not ask.
