Cordylus cataphractus or thorny devil?

TheWitte1 Feb 26, 2007 06:39 AM

Anyone know if it's possible to find any of these lizards for sale anywhere?

And they can't really be kept in captivity. Very, very specialized diet.

Cordylus cataphractus is occasionally available and does well in captivity. I have a male and am trying to track down a female. Moloch horridus (thorny devil) is very cool (I've seen them in the wild), but they are virtually impossible to get outside of Australia. Even if you could, it could prove difficult to get the right species of ants for them to eat.

Oh man you have one?! Where did you get it if you don't mind me asking? If you ever find a female and breed them will you please mail me?
