I here ya, I am sure all of us will be posting pics! Derek Roddy should have the most pics he is having a killer year. He could have four upsidedown BHP's soon!!

derekroddy Feb 26, 2007 11:33 PM

Ha, I'd be lucky to have that happen. 4 females going would be over the top, for sure!!!
Now, if we can all hatch them.
My new incubator is holding very good so makes me worry a little less.LOL!
Cheers.

Derek,

Can I rub your belly for luck...lol. I hope to be as lucky as you with my womas this year, BTW, what incubator are you using for you BH's. Home made or purchased? And are you BH's westerns?

Well, I don't have babies yet!!!! LOL!
Lets not get ahead of ourselves.

I have 2.1 western animals.
I have 0.2 NT (Although one female looks more like a "western"
and 1.2 eastern.
The incubator is a Georgia Quail Farms and will hold about 45-50 eggs if I'm good at making room in it.
Lets keep our fingers crossed that they hatch IF I get any at all.
Cheers.

A closer shot so folks can help me figure out what is going on

derekroddy Feb 28, 2007 12:39 PM

Looks like shes not doing so well.........maybe you need to send her to me!!!!
On a more serious note. My female woma is going into shed now but hasn't started turning yet.
Hoping for the best as always.
Good luck on the hatching.

Should I send this one too??? I'll be in contact.

...I have been so obsessed with BHP's that I had totally written off the womas. I never thought that they were that exciting...when you could have an animal that was almost identical but with a jet black head. Now, however, I think that I am starting to appreciate them. Very nice pics! Are their demeanors the same as BHP's?
