Cham chat?

lucille Feb 26, 2007 12:57 PM

I went to the general chat room (I was impressed, by the way, at the chat I listened to yesterday about amphibians) but I haven't seen where they hold chameleon chats, maybe I haven't looked in the right place. Do they? If not, y'all wanna get together and yak sometime?
I'm new to chams and have read a lot, but there's a lot to be said for talking informally with those who actually own chameleons.

What you saw last night was a special chat.. all of our chats this week are special guest speaker chats with proper chat room protocols in effect (i.e. raise your hand and wait to be called on to ask your question). Normally our moderated scheduled chats are free open discussion style - the mods are just there to supervise and help as needed. And there are often plenty of people who use the chat room even when there are no moderated chats scheduled but you sometimes have to expect to see more troublemakers without a mod to kick them out.
