Your going to get differant opinions from differant people to me that's a hypo or if it's a bad picture and the leo is infact more orange the hypo tangerine.Wouldn't class it as a carrottail due to the black spot(carrottail one/thred of the tail from the base must be orange with no spots or large amounts of blemish). If the spot gose then you can class as a carrottail but will be(Grade C).Not a super in my eyes as has spot on head.Best breeding partners would be either hypo/hypo tangerine,Super hypo,Super hypo tangerine/Or a hybino/sunglow/ which are albino hypo lines.
I have to agree, I wouldn't classify this gecko as a Carrot Tail. In my opinion Carrot Tail is a term used very liberally. By the book there needs to be at least 30% orange in the tail to be called a Carrot Tail. Personally, I've produced some animals that other people say are Carrot Tails, but I like to see at least 40% to 50% befor I give it the Carrot Tail lable.
It's a stretch caliing this gecko Tangerine. I'd have to almost see it in person to give you an honest opinion for that. Some cameras don't show much justice to leos when it comes to showing orange in pics.
Where I have to disagree is this gecko does appear to be a Super Hypo as apposed to a Hypo. There are no spots on this geckos body. A gecko can still be classified as a Super Hypo even though it has spots on it's head, they just can't have spots on the body. Super Hypos that don't have spots on there head can then be classified as Super Hypo Baldys.
But with a Super Hypo like the one first posted, go with any of the ones Gazz suggested. I would have to lean more towards a Super Hypo Tangerine or a Sunglow. Preferably something with alot of orange in it. A nice amount of Carrot Tail wouldn't hurt either.
