i got an iguana from petco about a month ago and was crazy when i got him and still hasn't calmed down a bit. I have been handling daily and he is perfectly healthy has ben eating ang drinking, so whats up?

I'm no expert as I just got mine about 3 months ago, but he probably still thinks you're going to eat him and his natural instinct is to run. given what i read, give him some time, and things should work out.

What's up is the iguana is being an iguana, and a healthy one indeed. Be thankful your ig is still this energetic and p!ssed off, it's a good sign.
Don't over-do it with the handling, let it get accustomed to your presence first. If not, more handling will just get you no where. Takes time, and not all iguanas are the dog-like loveable pets you read about in books or websites. Some are more stubborn and more authoritarian, which I think makes them 'cooler' and more interesting.
