I just picked up a male at the Oregon show and I am very excited. He is housed in a 29 gallon tall aquarium, laid with bedabeast and newspaper for bedding, has three different wooden tree branches for climbing and a cement cylinder to hide in. I have read not to directly spray these guys down so I have been misting his tank and trying not to spray him. He also has a shallow water bowl. All he does is a lot of sitting right now...I am sure he is getting accomodated. Temps are 70 low end, 92 high. He in under both a UBV bulb and a red heat bulb.
Any other suggestions for care?
I will post a pic later once I get my computer more functional.
