I bred two V. exanthematicus in captivity in 2003. Only five progenies have hatched, three expired a few weeks after hatching. Unfortunately the male noenate "Voodoo" died of intestinal occlusion in 2005. Today only one, the female "Santeria", is alive and is on exhibit at the Avilon Zoo in the Philippines where I work as Curator of Herpetology.
Here are some pics, though not very good, I would love to share. Pic 1 - pipping time. Pic 2- Free at last. Pic 3- Two for the road. Pic 4 - Santeria at 13 months old. Pic 5 - Santeria at 3-1/2 years old today.
