hi,
I have a Bahama Anole that has dried up feces around the anus. Its quite a lot and I am worried that he can't "go" when he has to, it appears blocked. Anyone know how to treat this? Soaking in warm water maybe?
thanks

a good soaking would be a good start. check your husbandry, this is an abnormal thing, so something isnt good somewhere. no offence but odds are its you and not something with the lizard. is he new to you? wild or captive? has he been checked for parasites? even if you dont have a herp vet near by most vets can run a fecal and id the parasite and can look up what to give to get rid of them. also with stool accumulating id really be worried hes dehydrated.
good luck!
