everyone i have meet including myself has some sort of herp and loves heavy music, can someone tell me why lol?

I don't think that's true. But I guess I fit that description. I like a lot of punk rock and some metal too, of course various other music as well.

My guess would be you hang with your fellow 20 somethings, who are part of the generation that nurtured and matured heavy metal (although not punk rock). I've met many herpers who don't care for metal or punk of any sort. I myself don't listen to it much, just some Metallica, Pillar and POD on occasion.
I guess it's because of the preponderance of the us young uns in the hobby?

Well, my daughter is totally into classical music. And I prefer music I can sing along with. *LOL* While I don't mind some rock and heavy rock, it's rarely my first choice to listen to.

Hmmm.....I like Korn, and Disturbed, but I also like musicals, and Simon and Garfunkle. I'm not "young" per se, at 35....I'm not sure. Maybe it's a "living on the edge" kinda thing? Type A personalities?
