Pic of my Lavender

This snake is doing great, I got her from Brad Lichtenhan. I also have a pair of Motley het Lavs, so hopefully next year I will have babies of my own. Tom Stevens

Have any full body shots of her to share?

Congrats on aquiring her. She could certainly fall into the category of 'Hurricane' Motley.

Yes, I envy you. I *need* to add a Lav Mot to my stable of Motleys (EVERY corn I own is either homo or het motley..well, except one...a Snow het stripe...same diff really...lol)

Thanks, I snapped off a bunch of pics while cleaning but none of the full body ones came out very good. I will try again soon. What kind of music do you play??? Tom Stevens

I play all kinds of 'music' on my drums.
I put music in quotes because the beauty of drums is that certain beats and time signatures (4/4 as an example) are useful in many musical genres.

That being said, I play mainly funk and rock 'styles' with a little jazz from time to time just to keep me on my toes.

I listen to mainly rock/alternative as well as some jazz. Guitar and drum-driven music is what gets my blood flowing.

About the only things I don't listen to are country music and rap/r&b.

Country is too twangy for my liking, and the majority of rap/r&b drum tracks are made on computers/drum machines, lack any significant drum fills, so they offer nothing of value/influence to me.

My main influences, drummer wise, are Chad Smith (Chili Peppers), Carter Beauford (Dave Matthews), Stewart Copeland (The Police), Floyd 'Bud' Gaugh (Sublime), and the legendary Bernard 'Pretty' Purdie.

Playing style?
I'm left-handed and play open-handed. (ie: left-handed on a right-handed drumkit. Many years ago when I first took up the drums it was from messing around on a right-handed friend's kit, so I was playing open-handed and never 'switched over' to a left-handed set-up when I bought my own kit.)

In addition to the drums, I also play some bass here and there.

What instrument do you play?

I play guitar and sing[scream and growl really], I have been stagnant for a few years but will probably record again this year. I have always been a metal head. I will be 40 this year and my musical tastes have not changed one bit. After I got married and decided I would not do much touring [not the glamourous type, the smelly van type] I started breeding snakes to keep me from dwelling on missing that.....as I do miss touring bad. It all seemed to work out. My family is my priority, then the snakes for my business....but I will play again soon....I hope
