what a pain!!
actually its not that bad. i bought the kit from lllreptile that gives the provent a mite and teh reptile relief spray.
worked wonderfully! Kaa was not soaking today when i came to class, so i take that as a success.

now i just follow up in 2 weeks and hope for the best.

oh quick question on soaking in soapy water. i assumed that it wasnt supposed to be a bubble bath, but i was unsure as to what type of soap to use so i went out and got regular dawn dish soap...figuring if it works for pengin in oil spills it woudl work for a Kaa bath, which it seemed to due to him being alive and all ....but soap anyone esle uses?

After i got rid of my mite problem i left my snakes on paper towels as a substrate to be sure there where no more mites. Im not sure if anyone else does it i just figured it would be easier to see black specs on white paper towels. Just a idea. Provent a mite works great and sounds like you did everything correctly so you should be ok.
