earth worms?

just wondering if it is ok to feed bearded dragons earth worms??

It's ok but they are very high in fat and should only be fed sparingly!

I was under the understanding that earthworms are full of parasites. So it wasn't a good idea to feed them.

Here is a link that says they are fine to eat just high in fat. I don't feed earthworms and i don't ever plan on it.

earthworms are not good to feed to bearded dragons for many reasons, not just because they are high in fat. Wild caught earthworms can contain pesticides and other toxins as well as parasites. Even farmed earthworms can be exposed to toxins in the soil/medium they are kept in.

Giving the fact there are plenty of much saver insect feeders to use, earthworms should never be used. Great feeders for bearded dragons are: crickets, silkworms, butterworms, phoenix worms, many species of roaches, all of which can be fed on a regular basis. Other currently available insect feeders can be added as variety, such as waxworms, superworms, mealworms (for older dragons) etc.
