How does this look? ( Pics )

Good Azuerus tank? I only plan to own 1 dart we'll see how long that'll last lol (I know not to mix and not to have more than 2 darts to a 10gallon). Heres the tank and a cool Potho root that has sprouted.

Recently drained the pond after the pics, i try to keep it shallow and cleaner by changing removing water every couple days.

I also have a fruit flie problem? They are FLIGTED Fruit Flies that keep reproducing in the moss!? They are annoying as heck and i dont know how to get rid of them? Anyone have any ideas? I can also see the maggets of the fruit flies in the water. Whats the deal anyways to get rid of them? Will the pose a problem when i get a Azurues in April?

Thanks,
Nick

The flies will be gone once you add your frogs. They are probably not fruit flies, but possibly something known as "white fly." How large are the "maggots" in the water. These may be springtails, which are a favorite of azureus.

After the tank "settles in," you won't have to change the water very often.

The pothos leaves do make nice depositories for azureus eggs, but will need to be trimmed back fairly often. You could remove one of the pothos and add a couple of smaller plants--perhaps Fittonia, Pilea, Peperomia or even a Selaginella for some variety, but what you have there will work well.

A ten is somewhat small for a pair of azureus, as these are usually pretty large frogs as adults, but you can always switch them to a larger tank later and then--of course you'll need another dart specie for the ten, and on and on. It seems that one is never enough once you get going.

Nice job. Enjoy your frogs.

Sorry, I was speaking as if you were getting a pair, and you did say only one in April. My senility at work again. But everything else I said applies.
