Right now i have only ball pythons. But i am really interested in getting a bearded dragon. As with all animals i but i dont get them before i learn about them so i am here to ask for all the information i can get from yous. I dont plan on breeding them so i dont really care weather i get a male or female but i do want to get one that will grow to be pretty large do males or females get larger? Also what are the yellow beardies called i really like them ones and the red ones. Any and all information is greatly appreciated. Also any refrences as to where i can get a nice yellow or red beardie would be great. Thanks ahead of time im off to do more research.

Make sure you do all your research. Here are a few links you may check out. I would also get a book or two and read as well. I find books to be better then the "internet".....

The best thing to do to get all the bearded dragon info you can get, is use google and do a search on bearded dragons. Read every site you fine. COme back here, read a few pages of back posts, as you will learn the answers to most basic questions asked about bearded dragons.

Buy a couple books on bearded dragons, there are a few good ones out there. 'The bearded Dragon Manual' by Philippe de Vosjoli, 'Your Bearded Dragon's Life' by Liz Palika are two great books to own. There are others as well.

www.beautifuldragons.503xtreme.com/home.html is another great site with detailed nutritional information for bearded dragons as well as care sheet info etc.

The red beardies are sandfire dragons...and the females get larger. if you're lookin' for some info, just go to "google.com"
and search, "bearded dragon care sheet"...and you'll get some good results. or just buy a book.
