Ok, not only does Zeus try to bite me. He jumps crazily all over the cage. Today he was just sitting there hissing for no reason. Now he hasn't ate anything for a week!! Any ideas?

Seems something is freaking him out, check everything near him, or anything different in his tank? Does he just do this when he sees you or you go near him?

NEXT BIGGIE question, I know you said you have a pair but are are you SURE you do not have 2 males in there, and he is displaying(showing aggression) upset because the other is there ??

This is the way a male would act towards another male, if he's being chased, or is the chaser. ??????

She's is definately a female!! She's been to the vet so I know it for a fact! He was just hissing in his cage yesterday at a rock!!!

Well now we are back to square one, LOL They sure are gorgeous !

Thank you eve! You seem to be the lady that knows things around here. I love your yellow pair, they are beautiful. I'd love to get more but they are so hard to come by around here. My son got lucy as a Christmas gift, but of course she's my baby now! It took me 8 months to find Zeus. I guess I'll just have to keep watching him to see what's up.

Alot of people here are experienced with collareds, it's just I jump in alot off and on through the day!

And no matter how much we THINK we know, hahahhaaa, there is ALWAYS so much more to learn.
