GLADE HERPS, anyone order from them?

TESSI_GAL Mar 02, 2007 08:28 AM

Glade Herps carries a snake I'm interested in. I have never ordered any reptiles on line. I'm wondering if people have had good experiences with them. They seem to have their act together! But omg that green background...yipes I look outside and sky looks pink now...that is HARSH!!! Also what about shipping...I live in NH it is cold and snowing still...lol. I definitely could be here all day for when it arrives, but my heart keeps saying wait till spring. What do you folks think. Like I said I've never had anything shipped in before. I just want to make sure I do this responsibly here, and get advice from those of you who have recieved shipments who live in the colder climes. thanks in advance

I have bought from Glades Herp many many times. I have never been disappointed. If you call them they will tell you about the animal you are considering plus they keep getting new shipments. They are a real good crew over there.
Shipping has never been a problem. Some people will not ship when it is cold. If you are home when the shipment arrives you should be ok. Every once in awhile the shipper may mess up but it does'nt happen too much. The heat packs keep everything warm. I shipped in the dead of winter with deep snow on the ground both here and where the package was headed. Forty eight hours later the inside of the box was 60 F. Another option is to ship with the airlines. You will need to go and pick them up but I have had good luck with them. Actually you would receive the shipment the same day sent.

No. Unfortunately they won't take pictures. They just are too busy and have many animals coming and going. The pics they post in the classifieds are usually not the specific animal for sale. They will go and describe the animal you are interested in as well as tell you how the animal has done for them.
