get the eggs away from mom? Does she flip out and try to eat your face? I'm not afraid of getting bitten, i just haven't gotten any eggs yet (I don't even keep bloods yet, just balls) and am wondering how it is done.

By the time they are done laying, they are usually worn out. After they are on them a while and regain their strength they get defensive. On real aggressive moms, I usually throw a towel over them and uncurl them from the eggs gently.
