Gotta love blue snakes

donv Mar 02, 2007 12:05 PM

I saw a blue grey banded king at a show last weekend that I wanted soooooooooo bad, but had already pathologically spent all of my money. I may soon turn to a life of crime to help support my snake addiction.

Killer blue Don.Ive needed to turn to a life of crime for the last 22 years.Overtime has been keeping me from doing so.lol.I have a pair of black milks waiting to be sent to me when the weather warms up.

If lead paint is so deadly why do they make it so delicious?

One is still retaining a bit of pattern. LOL. If you haven't dealt with black milks your gonna love them. This one is about 1.5 years old and almost all black as you can see. Already a stocky 3'. The parents were 7'+ so it's just gonna get better.

LOL - Congrats!!!

Step 1 - We admitted we were powerless over Snakes, and that our obsession had become unmanageable.

I'm toying with the idea of starting a collection of all blue snakes. On my wish list are:

Blue Racer
Blue Beauty
Blue Striped Garter
Bule Striped Ribbon
Blue phase Variable King
Mountain Patchnose
Schotts Whipsnake
and of course...
Eastern Indigo

What do ya think?

Blue beauties (nice ones) are really impressive. Mine is 9' , still growing, and always an adventure when handling him. It seems I've seen alot of odd colored blues at shows recently. I have a gut feeling they are being crossed with Taiwans and sold as blues. Anyway, I also am interested in some racers. I've seen a few pics lately and all of them, especially blue ones, are really stunning. It would be cool to find a source of captive bred blue racers.

Hahaha!! Yeah, life of crime for sure! I have finally resorted to incorporating so I can start to write some of my "addiction" off.

Gorgeous blue!!
