HELP! ACKIE REGURGITATION

fatbot_n_beets Mar 02, 2007 04:16 PM

We got our baby ackie about three weeks ago and just began to handle him over the past several days. Skiddish at first, but he seemed to calm down and even falls asleep in my hand now. But today my boyfriend was holding him and the little guy looked like he was doing alright, had his eyes closed for a few minutes, then all of a sudden opens his mouth and out pops a cricket! He has never done this, at least never since the 3 weeks he's been in our care. He usually eats without hesitation and with much vigor, quickly swallowing down one cricket then immediately chasing after his next victim. Any ideas why this could have happened, and if it's something to be very worried about?

Don't hold him. Search the forum and there will be many posts like this on. He is not sleeping, he is blocking out the world because he is stressed. Tyler
