I don't work with hots but I do work with colubrids, balls, and other egg laying species. Why are you setting up eggs that are infertile? Some of those eggs look to be slugs.
I really just put them all laid out for pictures. I tossed some of the super mushy ones. I also do what Chance says in the below post...I save my ugly ones for a few days just for the hell of it. I also breed colubrids. I have had a few ugly yellow corn eggs pop out corns. I have severe doubts about all those yellows though. That's totally okay though. 24 is not bad at all for a first clutch.

Awesome Chris...major congrats on that clutch! I was really keeping my fingers crossed for you that SOMETHING would get off its rear and lay. You'll probably have the Pak go as well later this year. Keep me informed on how things go with these eggs. And I don't blame you at all for setting the apparent slugs. I always do myself at least a few days until I can check and make sure no development is happening. Though not in my personal experience, I've seen some pretty shabby eggs go on and make babies...though generally these had initially looked okay and just became very moldy throughout the incubation period.
Anyway, I better hear about you having at least 24 little amel kaouthia here in a couple months!

beautiful animal.i have to ask-why no nesting box?can't help but think you'd have had a better slug/total clutch ratio if you set her up with a nice spot next time around.
