I had to pull Chili out from under his sleeping rock, and it didn't take long for him to realize it was nicer in the heat. He started head bobbing soon after warming up, and gulped down a large amount of water (which he needed). The next day he ate some medium sized mealworms. His color is turning on nicely, and his tail is filling in from lack of water. I had them down since Thanksgiving. I guess that makes their brumation approximately 12 weeks. Both chuckwallas and both collareds are up and eating now.
Have a great weekend everyone.
John
