I just got this little guy from Jamie Quick Reptiles. I have 4 poss Het females. Wendy and Lisa, Kelly and Beyonce. They are 1000g now. I'm looking forward to them making some beautiful music together next year. Claude

He also states in his original post "NEXT YEAR", so I would assume they will be over 1000g by that time.

I didn't mean any disrespect I just thought that it was along the same lines as a 13 year old human girl getting pregnant. It happens, of course it isn't regulated in the wild but it isn't safe to do as far as I knew.

I think it is all speculations. A 1000 gram girl after bred can gain weight to reach 1400 grams at point of her clutch.

I would not breed them now, at 1000 grams. Some will say if they are three years old at least, fat, and 1000 grams go ahead, but my MINIMUM, is 1300 grams, but 9 out of 10 of my breedings, the females are at least 1500 grams, more weigh in at 1800 grams. I would rather wait a year and produce 8 viable eggs than push it and maybe get 3 eggs and 3 slugs. It is just not worth it to me. This is just my OPINION. Others will have different opinions. She was 2200 grams at the time, and got 10 good eggs. I just like big clutches.

The girls are over 1000g now. One and a half years old. But the little guy is 155g. Born on 11/20/06. But he has big dreams. One more year and well give him his chance. Claude
