they usually shed very fast, atleast compared to other herps. my advice... do NOTHING. if you try to pull it off you can damage their skin. so unless its cutting off the circulation to anything dont mess with them.

a healthy anole takes two weeks to shed. you think i'm crazy, but listen. First it's the head section. That takes and hour or so. Then a few days later, the body goes. A few days later the tail comes. Higher humidity (70-80%) is a way to help it come along. NEVER PULL OF SCIN!!! I learned the hard way. (don't worry, my anole geo is fine now )

a couple hours for the head to shed? I must have a retarded Cuban Knight... he ran around for 2 days almost with his head trying to scrape it all off and stuff... He is fine and i've checked to make sure he didn't injure himself. Silly critter... even eats his skin! and no he ain't hungry cuz he still has a couple mealworms left. ate all the crix tho

Hey dude, most lizards eat their skin as they shed. It's good for them! Help's give they a shiny coat... er... skale...thing.
