Glad to see you in the forums, Lele!

As a business owner, I can certainly understand Kingsnake's TOS, especially the part where it states 'PLEASE DO NOT DISCUSS OUR COMPETITION'.

Yes, this is a very good chameleon forum, but keep in mind that it is hosted by Kingsnake. This is not a 'FREE FOR ALL' forum. We need to be mindful (if not respectful) of our host's house rules.

Wow... I think I opened a whole OTHER can of worms... sorry, haha. Tho maybe a match can be made here on the cham forums at kingsnake... a bit o.t., but can be related back to the general health and well-being of the herps...
Anyway, sorry for the taboo question...

What’s the big dilly-o about mentioning other forums? I smell fascism.

Agreed, for a website that is a community promoting the reptile hobby, they sure don't do it well.

Being a sponsor of some of Kingsnake's forums and banner advertising, I thought my opinion might have a little more weight... I've requested this about once a year from Wyvern and Faust with rejection, but I still think they need a "Kingsnake Personals" forum, where 20-something guys like me can link up with a cute reptile keeping girl that I can wine, dine and convince to clean my cages.

I second that. No women in her right mind would tolerate all my critters, bugs and time it takes to properly maintain them all unless she was in the same boat. Not like I’m currently on the prowl, but I would think this a big problem for all the single die hard herp keepers.

lovely lizard lovin ladies would have loved/or would love to marry/date guys like you, in a heartbeat!

I have a great hubby who is super understanding (most of the time) about my reptile/animal passion, having a guitar playing passion of his own.

** But there are times, I must explain why I need another pair this or that... or why I need 20 more cages..... hahahhaa, OR the crickets stink, or make sure those freakin BIG ROACHES don't get out or I'm calling an exterminator. Or why is there a big lizard in the bathtub, is she done..... ROFLMAO

ONLY another person who does this on a large scale can understand. So KEEP looking guys there are ladies out there like me who are yoru age and are not married.

Seriously, how cool would it be to come home from work and ask your wife:

"Everyone Fed?"
"Check"

"Cages Clean?"
"Check"

"E-mails Answered?"
"Check"

"Sweet, let's go take a bath."

One day, I will accomplish this LOL!

Not to put a "Damper" On your sexy bath, but somehow soaking together in dirty lizard cage remnants just did not come off as such a turn on, LMAO

Maybe your dream girl can shower first, then join you for a bath later. ahhahahahahhahahaa

You will find her!

It's just too bad that it would be flooded with 16-17 year old kids with dyed black hair, facial piercings and cheesy tattoos.... Take one look at the Kingsnake Users Photo Gallery and you'll see what I'm talking about. There needs to be a way to search based on age, drug addictions and ability to hold a job.... I wouldn't bother with a personals forum that was 8% female, 65% male and 27% who knows what. Take off those "tight jeans," they went out of style before they came in.

You beat me to it Tyler … so want to avoid the gothies, blood drinkers, chics that leave nail marks and pull hair. It feels like I slipped into another dimension at some of these reptile shows.

hmmmm...let's see here

My piercings: Eight. Four in each ear and the are ALL in the lobe. None on my nose, lips, eyebrows, bellybutton, etc...

Tattoos: One. A small rose bud on my ankle. Cost ten bucks at a Quite Riot after party. 1991 (still love it)

Nails: Depending on what I am doing at any given time. Just got done building, yes building, a half bath in my house. ABS glue does make nice polish.

Cage Cleaning: Endless with 2 ferrets, 2 snakes, 1 chameleon and 1 (soon to be 2) fish tanks. Not to mention I have cleaned my share of dog and horse poop.

I love to drink beer and belch really loud, work on cars and undertake physical tasks that are beyond alot of men. But....I look great in a nice fitting pair of jeans (not those skin tight ones) and, as they say, clean up nicely!

These type of girls are out there Tyler. Unfortunately, I am 30 something something and happily married.

The future generation will be ok though...I raised two georgeous girls who are just as rough, tough, not afraid to get their hands dirty, who could knock the socks off of any guy!

Keep looking guys...she's out there.

Kris

My advice is to look carefully. I found one site that had some people who were not there to help at all. One guy jumped on my for a UV question even when I prefaced it with the fact that I had UV bulbs. I'd avoid sites like that.

Find sites where people love chams and because of it, want to share what they know.
