New Hypos?

DanW Mar 04, 2007 08:25 AM

I am starting to really get back into corns. I am confused about what I heard are the new forms of hypo. Can someone explain to me or point me to a link about Ultramels, Lavas, and Ice? What do they look like and how do they compare with each other and with normal hypos?

My favorite morph is the Lavender. I really like hypo lavs. How would these hypo morphs make a hypo lavender look?

Thanks,
Dan

You can find most of the information you're looking for on one or the other of two sites.

Don's site at
http://www.cornsnake.net/cornprice.php3

or at the VMS site at
http://www.vmsherp.com/ViewCornsnakes.htm

keep in mind that the ultra gene is actually co allelic with the amel gene so a ultramel is actually hetrozygous for amel and hetrozygous for ultra.

hope those likes answer your questions.

Just trying to make sure I'm up to date on the terminology.
